The Story of Nature Dust
Our co-founder, Lauren, created Nature Dust while traveling, working, and hiking in Alaska, then worked with our manufacturer who has 20+ years of experience in the business to perfect it. Lauren oftentimes is not able to shower for days (sometimes even a week or more) at a time while camping and hiking. This formula eliminates grease and oil, leaves her hair feeling soft, and gives it body. She's also used it as an odor-eliminating body scrub, and deodorant.

Key Benefits for your Scalp and Hair
Unlike other dry shampoos that make your hair look better while ultimately damaging it, you can feel good about using Nature Dust because it doesn't just make you look good, it is good for you and the environment! We've packed it with ingredients that neutralize oil and grease while nourishing your hair and scalp:
Ginger Oil - Ginger is a great hair conditioner. Rich in minerals and essential oils, it makes hair more manageable, softer and shinier. It also is a useful remedy for dandruff and dry, itchy scalp. It contains natural anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that help keep your scalp healthy and clean.
Tea Tree Oil - Tea tree oil has anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties that make it effective for treating dandruff. It has been found to fight the fungus that causes dandruff without drying out the scalp. It moisturizes and soothes the scalp, reducing itchiness and making it less prone to flaking, which also helps stimulate hair growth.
Peppermint Oil - Peppermint oil has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, and it soothes an itchy scalp, keeps dandruff at bay, and can defend against head lice. Peppermint oil also helps to absorb excess oils on the scalp, moisturize a dry scalp, and promote hair growth.
How to Use Nature Dust
To use Nature Dust, simply grab a handful of the dust and sprinkle it into your dry hair. Rub the dust into the roots of your hair and around your scalp, focusing particularly on areas that are greasy or dirty. Repeat this process until you've covered greasy areas to your liking. You can either leave the powder in, or shake / towel it out. There is no harm in leaving it in, however it will give your hair a lighter appearance, so you may want to use a towel to dab at areas that look too blonde or white.
